Kristen Granchelli

Title: Government Affairs and Public Policy

Kristen Granchelli is the Vice President of Government Affairs and Public Policy. In Kristen's capacity with NAGGL, she manages all aspects of government and public affairs including communications, advocacy, and strategy in dealings with Congress, the Executive Branch, and the media. Additionally, Kristen leads NAGGL's federal grassroots advocacy and political fundraising. She is also responsible for external relationships beyond the federal government, focusing on building coalitions with key stakeholders in the financial services sector and other organizations. Kristen joined NAGGL after spending 5 years working on Capitol Hill, where she most recently worked on the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship for Ranking Member Jim Risch (R-ID). She previously served as a Legislative Aide for Senator Scott Brown (R-MA) in Washington, DC and as a senior political aide to Senator Brown during both campaigns for the U.S. Senate. During this time off the Hill, Kristen served as Deputy Finance Director for the historic 2010 Massachusetts Senate race to fill the late Ted Kennedy's seat and as Campaign Advisor in the 2012 Massachusetts Senate race. Kristen grew up in Massachusetts and her first job was in the Massachusetts State House.
