On October 26, 2022, Tony Wilkinson, President and CEO, presented the prestigious 2022 Distinguished Serviced Award to Sherrill Stockton for her incredible contributions to the 7(a) lending community.
NAGGL’s Distinguished Service Award is one of the highest recognitions that the association has to honor individuals, typically for multiple years of unusually outstanding service to our industry and association.
As the Executive Vice President and a Senior Credit Officer for Live Oak Bank, the industry’s largest 7(a) lender by dollar amount, Stockton is responsible for SBA training, credit review, process improvement, loan approval and on-call technical expertise to a growing national SBA lender.
And despite her busy role at Live Oak, Stockton shares her time and experience with this Association. She has served on NAGGL’s board of directors since 2011; as a NAGGL instructor since 2013; as former co-chair of the Technical Issues Committee; and as a mentor to our first class of Future Leading Lenders.
