On Wednesday, December 14, the Senate Small Business Committee will hold a hearing entitled, Improving Access to Capital in Underserved Communities: The Community Advantage Program, Microloans, and other SBA Initiatives. Per the Committee’s own hearing notice, expect conversation to focus on minority lending, but to also dive into various perspectives on SBA‘s most recent proposed rules. Annemarie Murphy, First Bank of the Lake, will be one of four witnesses testifying at this hearing.
