SBA Publishes Rule to Sunset Community Advantage Pilot Program

SBA has published a Rule in the Federal Register, Community Advantage [CA] Pilot Program, 88 FR 69003 announcing that it is sunsetting the CA Pilot Program effective October 31, 2023.  The October date represents a brief extension of the sunset date of September 30, 2023 that SBA had previously been mentioned in an earlier Federal Register Notice, in SOP 50 56 1 and in the SBA notice on the conversion of CA Pilot Program lenders to CA Small Business Lending Company (SBLC) status.  While not described in this Rule, the conversion of CA Pilot Program lenders to CA SBLCs has been ongoing.
