SBA has announced an additional expansion of 7(a) International Trade Loan (ITL) eligibility, extending the program to manufacturers operating within NAICS sectors 31–33. Beginning May 1, these manufacturers – along with previously designated food supply chain businesses – will qualify for an enhanced 90% SBA guaranty under the ITL Program.
Administrator Loeffler noted that this new Made in America Loan Guarantee will enable small manufacturers to use SBA‑guaranteed financing to “expand operations, modernize equipment, and supercharge domestic production.” Please review the full press release for additional details.
SBA has indicated that implementing guidance will be published soon. Continue to monitor naggl.org for updates and for information on upcoming NAGGL training related to the ITL expansion.
