SBA’s Administrator, Isabella Casillas Guzman, is set to testifybefore Congress in two back-to-back committee hearings this Wednesday, March 20.

At 10:00 AM ET, the House Committee on Small Business will hold a full committee hearing titled “Conducting Oversight: Testimony from the Small Business Administrator.” According to the Committee’s public notice, the Administrator will field questions from Members focused on whether “the SBA is functioning efficiently and as intended”.  Watch Live >

Then, beginning at 2:30 PM ET, the Senate Committee on Small Business & Entrepreneurship will hold a hearing titled “Oversight of the U.S. Small Business Administration and Review of the President’s Fiscal Year 2025 Budget Proposal”, which is anticipated to cover similar oversight topics, as well as items within the FY25 President’s Budget Request, including the SBA’s newly proposed 7(a) direct lending program. Watch live >
