Please feel free to contact the chair of any of NAGGL committees concerning issues you'd like raised in their areas of authority.

The selection process for new committee members takes place over September-December annually and slating occurs in early January.

Large Lender

Associate Member
Serves as a channel of communication to NAGGL leadership on issues related to the service provider membership segment.

Public Policy Committee
The Public Policy Committee works with NAGGL’s board of directors and staff to identify, evaluate and monitor  SBA's current lending initiatives (e.g., to veterans or to underrepresented populations) and provides input to the board and members on effective ways to support the agency's goals.

SBLC & Non-Bank Lender
Serves as communication channel to NAGGL leadership on unique technical lending and other issues related to the SBLCs and non-bank lenders.

Secondary Market
Provides input and technical expertise to staff and board of directors for issues directly related to the SBA secondary market.

Small Lender

Since small lenders are the majority of our membership, this category is divided into 3 groups representing a (very) approximate division of the nation into East, Central & West. Each committee will meet separately and come together as a larger committee for face-to-face meetings during conferences.

Membership
Provides suggestions and support to NAGGL staff and board of directors relating to membership recruitment and retention and ask as Ambassadors to meet new members during conferences and other events.

Technical Issues
NAGGL’S TIC identifies and discusses 7(a) lenders’ technical policy issues and recommends to the association and its board of directors what policy issues to focus on.
