SBA has announced that Alejandro C. Contreras has been appointed as the acting director of SBA’s Office of Financial Assistance.  He replaces John Miller,  deputy associate administrator for the Office of Capital Access, who had been temporarily appointed to this position at the time Dianna Seaborn, the former director was reassigned to new duties in SBA’s Office of Entrepreneurial Development.  Most recently Contreras served as Director of Disaster Lending Communications and Coordination in OCA, coming to that position from SBA’s Office of Disaster Assistance.  Seaborn has indicated that she will retire from SBA in mid-January.  NAGGL thanks Dianna for her years of dedicated service to small businesses both as a private sector lender and in both the investment and loan programs at SBA.  We also welcome Alex to his new position where we look forward to working with him.
