The Senate just confirmed Kelly Loeffler as SBA Administrator, and she will now be sworn in as Administrator before assuming the role. Administrator Loeffler’s confirmation comes after the Senate Committee on Small Business & Entrepreneurship voted 12-7 to advance her nomination as SBA Administrator two weeks ago.
NAGGL wrote a letter to the Senate Committee on Small Business & Entrepreneurship endorsing former Sen. Loeffler’s nomination to be SBA Administrator, writing, in part:
“Once confirmed, Senator Loeffler’s decades-long successful business and finance career uniquely positions her to truly grasp the myriad of challenges and opportunities that exist in starting, building, and growing a business, as well as the needs of the financial services partners that support those businesses…As we begin a new Administration, NAGGL sincerely looks forward to continuing those efforts on behalf of small businesses and working hand-in-hand with Senator Loeffler as she leads an agency that plays an incredibly vital role in the federal government.”
Congratulations to SBA Administrator Loeffler, and we look forward to working with you on behalf of our membership!
