NAGGL staff is working feverishly to digest all of the changes to the Program Requirements that SBA has issued so far and to update all of our course materials affected by the changes. With the recent issuance of the final rules and the release of several notices and the SOP 50 10 7 scheduled to take effect on 8/1/2023, we are now able to schedule the live supplemental training for the following courses:

June 7

  • Understanding the SOP 50 10 – 10:00 AM – 3:30 PM CT
  • Advanced SOP 50 10 Training – 10:00 AM – 3:30 PM CT

June 8

  • Basic Credit Analysis – 10:00 AM – 3:30 PM CT
  • Advanced Credit Analysis – 10:00 AM – 3:30 PM CT

June 9

  • Closing and Funding the SBA Loan – 10:00 AM – 3:30 PM CT
  • Advanced SBA Loan Documentation and Closing – 10:00 AM – 3:30 PM CT

July 13

  • SBA Construction Lending – 10:00 AM CT – 11:00 AM CT (only applicable to courses offered prior to May 11)
  • Writing the SBA Credit Memo – 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM CT

Attendees unable to attend the live training during the scheduled time will be able to access the recording and updated materials following the live course.

We still are waiting for additional guidance including version 3 of SOP 50 57, 7(a) Servicing and Liquidation; the new SOP 50 56 which will include the material contained in Part 1 of SOP 50 10 which addresses the requirements relating to Participating in the SBA 7(a) and 504 Loan Programs; the 7(a) updates on various 7(a) forms; and other expected guidance documents.   Therefore, we are not able to schedule supplemental training for the following courses yet:

  • SBA Loan Servicing and Liquidation
  • Advanced SBA Loan Servicing and Liquidation
  • Addressing Legal Issues in 7(a) Servicing and Liquidation
  • How to Get SBA to Honor Its Guaranty
  • Get Acquainted with SBA 7(a) Lending
  • SBA 1502 Reporting (only applicable to courses offered prior to May 11)

Once we receive the updated guidance related to each course, we will schedule the supplemental training or provide updated materials, as appropriate. In the meantime, we encourage you to watch your email and naggl.org for more information.
