Applicable to All Members and Staff of the National Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders

As an association dedicated to enhancing the access of capital to small business concerns through the U.S. Small Business Administration’s 7(a) Loan Program, we believe that membership in the association requires integrity in actions and responsibility for decisions and their consequences.

We are committed to:

    • Acting honestly, truthfully and with integrity in all our transactions and dealings;

    • Appropriately handling actual or apparent conflicts of interest in our relationships;

    • Treating our members fairly;

    • Treating each individual with dignity and respect;

    • Treating our association’s employees with respect, fairness and good faith, and providing conditions of employment that safeguard their rights and welfare;

    • Being a good corporate citizen and complying with both the spirit and letter of the law;

    • Acting responsibly toward members of the small business community;

    • Acting responsibly toward members of the Agency and Members of Congress; and

    • Improving the ethical conduct and effectiveness of this association.
