In Person Training: UCA Cash Flow Analysis
In this 2-hour course, you will get a high-level overview of the Uniform Credit Analysis (UCA) framework and how it is used to assess borrower cash flow and repayment capacity. You will review the main sections of a UCA statement, explore key concepts such as debt service coverage and borrower strength, and compare UCA cash flow with EBITDA at a summary level. By the end of the session, you will have a clearer understanding of the framework of UCA cash flow analysis.
In Person Training: Protecting the SBA Guaranty: Getting it Right from Origination through Liquidation
Imagine your SBA loans are being reviewed for purchase: can you show they were originated, closed, serviced, and liquidated in accordance with SBA Loan Program Requirements and prudent lending practices? In this 2-hour in-person session, you’ll learn how to handle each stage of the loan lifecycle correctly, avoid common deficiencies that can lead to repairs or denials, and strengthen your documentation and processes so you can better protect the SBA guaranty on every loan.
In Person Training: Crafting Effective SBA Credit Narratives
Develop the skills to analyze and clearly communicate credit risk through well-structured SBA credit memos. This course covers key components, common pitfalls, and how to align your analysis with SBA requirements. By the end, you will be able to produce well-supported credit narratives that help preserve the SBA guaranty.
In Person Training: When SBA Files Go Sideways: Lessons Learned from Problem Loans
What do you do if the loan defaults and you uncover errors that occurred during the origination, closing, servicing or liquidation process? In this 2-hour in-person session, you’ll explore what can happen when issues arise and what those situations can teach you. Through real-world lessons learned, you’ll identify common lender missteps, warning sign, and documentation gaps that can lead to repairs or denials of liability. You’ll walk away with practical lessons learned to help you avoid costly errors and better protect the SBA guaranty when problems arise.
