Committee members play an essential role in helping NAGGL stay informed, responsive, and connected to the needs of our nationwide membership. As a small association, we rely on the expertise and participation of our committee members to provide valuable input on technical issues, regional trends, and membership-specific concerns.
Term Commitments & Participation
Committee participation is reviewed annually. In November of each year, NAGGL asks active committee members to confirm their continued commitment for the upcoming year. Committee rosters are finalized and approved by NAGGL leadership. Please note that “All actions of the Committee shall be subject to the review and approval of the President and/or the Board of Directors.”
- Term Limits: In some cases, committee members who have served three consecutive years may be asked to rotate off the committee for a minimum of two years.
- Inactive Members: NAGGL reserves the right to remove any member who does not maintain active involvement—such as repeated absences or lack of engagement—even if they have served less than three years.
- Exceptions: We understand that professional demands may impact your ability to participate. NAGGL will consider individual circumstances, and committee terms may be extended at the discretion of NAGGL leadership.
