NAGGL members are committed to providing the brave servicemen and women of America with critical access to capital a transition back to civilian life. In recognition of Veterans Day, NAGGL was thrilled to recognize the exemplary efforts of two members and present them with the Champion of Veterans Small Business Lending award:
• Gary Henderson of Allegiance Bank (TX)
• Lenwood V. Long of The Support Center (NC)
In addition to our two award winners, NAGGL also recognizes Greg Poehlmann and his team at 44 Business Capital with an honorable mention for their steadfast commitment to helping veterans succeed.
VETERANS -- More than 130 NAGGL members offer you special incentives and discounts on small business loan fees or provide legal & other assistance critical when starting a business!
Across the country, banks and lenders are coming together to provide access to capital for veterans to start or grow their own businesses and sustain businesses in the communities they have helped build. NAGGL is proud to launch Operation: Vet Access, which serves as a complement to SBA’s Veteran Pledge.
Like SBA, NAGGL and its members recognize the importance of supporting the entrepreneurial dreams of our country's veterans. NAGGL is driving veterans lending across our membership to unify and meet the needs of veterans across the country. As various veteran jobs fairs provide opportunities, NAGGL’s efforts will ensure access to capital for veteran business owners and entrepreneurs.
