This week's lender spotlight features Meadows Bank! Pioneer Youth & Adult Community Services was able to expand into new space thanks to a 7(a) loan that Meadows Bank's Salt Lake City, Utah branch facilitated. As a thriving business that offers counseling, after school and summer programs, and foster care proxy services for at-risk youth, Pioneer Youth & Adult Community Services needed additional space to offer new programs and services for the community, Meadows Bank worked closely with this small business to get the capital they needed to continue serving their community. We celebrate the accomplishments of Meadows Bank and all our lenders working to grow Main Street Lending!

Susquehanna Bank is invested in the communities they serve, contributing to programs and projects that enhance quality of life. NAGGL is proud of the work of Susquehanna Bank and all of our lenders for their efforts in growing Main Street lending!

January 6, 2015 marked the first day of the 114th Congress. With several new members of Congress taking office, and new members joining the House and Senate Small Business Committees, NAGGL is featuring Diane Gallion, Darla Watts and the entire hardworking SBA team at The Bancorp Bank in this lender spotlight for their success in communicating with Members of Congress! As a best practice, Bancorp uses NAGGL member letter templates to communicate with Members of Congress every time they close a 7(a) loan. Bancorp has received responses from: Rep. Jim Costa, 16th District of CA; Sen. Robert Menendez of NJ; Sen. Patrick Toomey of PA. The letters highlight the 7(a) loan, the borrower, the business, and the number of jobs retained or created. We congratulate Bancorp on their success in this national effort to share the positive impact of 7(a) lending with Senators and Representatives. We encourage all of our members to use the template letters available in the NAGGL Member Toolkit to share the value of Main Street lending.

We are thrilled to share the second installment of the NAGGL Member Spotlight featuring State Bank Northwest. Having been established for over 110 years, State Bank Northwest prides itself on community relationships that span across generations. Recently, they closed a $672,000 7(a) loan to Spokane Pediatric Dental. The loan allowed Spokane Pediatric Dental to retain 5 jobs and continue to provide its services to the Spokane community. As with all 7(a) loans, this loan will have a positive economic impact, enabling the region to continue to thrive. We celebrate the accomplishments of Buck Marshall & his team at State Bank Northwest as they work to grow the 7(a) program and support the nation's small businesses. Congratulations!
