SBA’s FAQ on SOP 50 10 5(F)
Agency reverses mandatory requirement for DUNS
SBA has provided answers to some of the most critical questions about the implementation of the new SOP 50 10 5(F). Most importantly, SBA has reiterated that, effective 1/1/2014, lenders and loan applicants will be required to use current SBA Forms 1919 and 1920 and 912 for all loan applications. SBA reconsidered its requirement that a DUNS number was required for every SLA loan. Get It >  Please check back to the NAGGL Home page frequently for new information on the 5(F) implementation process and more detailed responses to members' specific questions.

Based on the serious flaws within its data, SBA no longer provides to the public its franchise performance data. "Since lenders are not required to provide franchise 'codes' to the SBA, the agency's franchise data is incomplete and its accuracy is questionable." -- FRANdata, 2011
