Privacy Policy Statement 
The National Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders (NAGGL) is committed to bringing you information that is tailored to your individual needs and, at the same time, to protecting your privacy. The following is a summary of the various ways we treat the information you provide us.

What Information Does NAGGL Collect?
NAGGL does not collect any personally identifying information except with your specific knowledge and consent. Most data that NAGGL collects is used only to help better serve its members.

General Users: NAGGL does not collect any personal information from users browsing its website. Users to the public areas of NAGGL's website browse anonymously. Only aggregate data--such as the number of hits per page--is collected. Aggregate data is only used for internal and marketing purposes and does not provide any personally identifying information.

NAGGL Members, Conference Registrants, and Other Customers: To gain access to members-only resources and personalization features on the NAGGL website, members and other users are asked to register and provide some limited information. This data is submitted voluntarily. Similar information may be submitted to NAGGL through membership applications, conference or seminar registrations, publication orders, subscriptions, and contest registrations.

How Does NAGGL Handle Electronic Mail?
NAGGL regularly sends membership information, industry-specific legislative alerts, electronic newsletters, announcements, and event information via e-mail to its members and customers. Every email sent to NAGGL's members and customers offers the option for the recipient to unsubscribe from that distribution list. Additionally, for some emails sent in HTML format by NAGGL to its members, NAGGL will collect specific information regarding what the recipient does with that email. For those emails, NAGGL will monitor whether a recipient subsequently clicks through to links provided in the message. Other information collected through this tracking feature includes: email address of a user, the date and time of the user's "click," a message number, name of the list from which the message was sent, tracking URL number, and destination page. NAGGL only uses this information to enhance its products and distribution of those products to its members. This information is not sold or distributed in any other manner.

How Does NAGGL Use Data Collected?
NAGGL uses information voluntarily submitted by members and other customers in the following ways:

NAGGL Member Services and Products: Generally, NAGGL uses data collected to improve its own web content; to respond to visitors' interests, needs and preferences; and to develop new products and services.

Disclosures to Third Parties: NAGGL also makes member contact information available to other members upon request and makes attendee contact information from specific events available to others who register for the same event in order to facilitate networking opportunities between its members and customers. NAGGL never shares any of your personally identifying data with any third party without your explicit permission, and never uses it for any purposes that you do not authorize. Any information that you provide to NAGGL will be treated in a confidential manner and restricted for internal use only.

How Does NAGGL Use Cookies?
NAGGL uses cookies to control the display of information on its website, as well as to keep track of the progress of your interactive sessions on our website. "Cookies" are nuggets of information that the NAGGL web server stores in its databases or requests your browser to store on your computer's hard disk. Our cookies do not contain any information that could in any way personally identify you or violate your privacy. If you don't like cookies, your web browser likely includes an option that allows you not to accept them. We don't recommend using this option, however, as it will make browsing our site a less enjoyable experience and some sections of the site are very dependent on cookies and will not work if you disable them.

NAGGL's website contains links to other websites. NAGGL has no control over and is not responsible for the privacy policies or content of such sites.
